LIVE Streaming of OOTBWC Services…

Hopefully be streaming services at FUMC OOTBWC live on the web using UStream VERY soon!!! I have this working at home and I believe it will work with our camera setup at OOTBWC. The tricky part will be setting up the audio through the Audio mixer. Also, there will need to be some research done to ensure there are no copyright issues with us broadcasting our services in this way as well.

Anyway, below is a show on UStream that I’ve created for FUMC OOTBWC!! For now, the below will just say “Off Air” until we start broadcasting. Some Sunday very soon (hopefully Easter Sunday!!), you’ll be able to see and hear our service LIVE on the internet!! How great will this be when we’re on vacation this summer… Sunday morning at the beach, we can carry our laptop down by the pool and participate in service at OOTBWC 300+ miles away!!

I’ll be visiting OOTBWC this week to test this out in preparation of using it next week for Easter Sunday!! Hopefully be able to get the audio working with our Audio mixer.

Currently using the free version so you will have to put up with Ads from time to time. I haven’t used it much yet, so I cannot say how frequent and annoying the ads will be. The Ads appear to be less frequent during Live Broadcasts than when watching a recording.

As you noticed if you’ve seen the video already, all of the pics after a point in the video zoom to some area of the pictures and don’t show the whole picture. I selected a “SmartZoom” feature during production of the video, because it sounded good I guess. Not so good… I’ve removed this and now have it updated here.

So sorry for the technology failure at SNL. I hope everyone at SNL gets to view this version of the presentation.

Justin really fit the role perfectly for speaking at Resurrection. He challenged everyone present, and he really projected a sense of caring to the crowd comparable to that of a loving parent to their children.

WordPress does not allow videos to be embedded into the posts from PhotoBucket. So I had to just put a link to this video on Photobucket; however, I recovered an old blog I never used on Blogger and you can embed videos on Blogger.

So, for WordPress, Photobucket wouldn’t be the best for videos, although it works just fine with photos. WordPress has allowed YouTube videos for a while and now has four new ways to embed videos. Below is an example of a YouTube video. For a YouTube video, simply type “youtube=video_web_link” with “[]” around it and replace video_web_link with the http address of the video you want to embed.

Here is an example of a YouTube video being embedded. I found a video of Justin Lookadoo skydiving (no sound on this one). Then check out the next two of Justin talking about what he does.

Photobucket for Pics on WordPress

Here’s an example of posting an image by just copying the “Direct Link” code from my Photobucket site.

When you open the slideshow, to get to the code for an image, click on Main in the top right corner. This will give you a thumbnail list of all the photos in the album. When you hover over the image, a dropdown will appear with several different code options. A direct link is what I used to insert this photo on this post. Check out the video at the bottom of the page to see how I added the image from photobucket. This doesn’t require you to get and upload the photos to your site. You can just link to my files already uploaded on Photobucket.
